Today felt really good in a lot of ways. The morning with Lucy went as well as it oculd have ... there were no major melt downs (on either side), she slept until 7, drop off wasn't too dramatic etc etc. Work was productive, I was busy during the day and didn't feel TOTALLY depleted (only a little). I picked up my babe and she was in a good mood. We spent most of the evening working in the yard. Lucy really loves helping to gather the clippings/weeds/leaves. I trimmed a bunch of branches and the bush in front of Lucy's window. Lucy dragged all the trimmings to the side of the house. She just got busy and focused and worked hard hard hard. Next we worked the back yard, picking up toys, trimming more trees and blowing leaves (and well Lucy liked having the leaf blower turned on her once in awhile). We worked until dinnertime and then we worked again until hair re-do time. It felt nice (after last nights lazypalooza).

Oh man, you're doing yard work? Way to make me feel lazy. I know the snow if going to fall before I get anything done. Glad you had a good day :)

complete side note -- but Lucy has the most gorgeous hair. You do so many beautiful hairstyles. I am thoroughly impressed and will be emailing you if our first is a girl for your tips.
