Once again ...
my little lucy is struck down with severe congestion and a fever that motrin won't crack. 102 now and an hour and a half until she's due for another dose.
Stacy, do you mind if I pray for Lucy? ***Some people get offended and my heart's desire is not to offend but to be of support the only way I know of***
So sorry Lucy is sick again. When my little guy is sick, we alternate with motrin and tylenol. It seems to work pretty well. He's had a febrile seizure, so I am pretty vigilant about the fever thing. I give E motrin (which last about 8 hours) and tylenol (about 4) you can overlap the two. I know you have had a lot of experience taking care of a sick Lucy (unfortunately), so I'm sure you know this, but just in case. :) Hugs to you both.
That's too bad. Did you know that you can alternate Tylenol and Motrin? We(I'm a nurse at Children's) usually reccomend alternating every 3 hours. I hope she feels better soon and you both can get some sleep tonight.

poor little sweetie, she's been having a rough time....i hope her fever breaks soon and she's back to her usual lively self...

Dang her fevers are persistent. Hang in there mama! You are the best nurse for her... take care of you, too.
