The day before ... (or NaBloPoMo day 3)

It's almost time to make history people. Can you feel it in the air??? The excitement, the anxiety the POSSIBILITIES!!!!!! Tomorrow my daughter and I will be waiting however long it takes to cast our vote (and I believe my vote weighs more because my daughter's future rides on it). I want her to know that Baracking the vote is not a choice, it's a very serious responsibility. More importantly, oh how I hope, that Lucy and I will be doing some serious celebrating in the very near future.

To my homies in district 61 ... we'll see you tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

I'm assuming the picture is one of Lucy's calls for the Dem party! Awesome you've got her started at such a young age.
I am almost scared for tomorrow. I know what the polls say. I know what the early voting will show. I know what the new voter voting will show. But I'm still scared that racism is alive and well and too many are afraid of putting a black man in the white house. But I am more hopeful than scared, and will be on pins & needles until the election is called. Hopefully he will do so well in the east and midwest they can call it early and we don't have to wait for California!!
Barack = Hope for our nation, our children, and our future!!!!

I can't believe it's really here. We'll be at the polls bright and early, hoping to not be late for school.

So nervous, sitting here in district 62... Not sure that sleep will come easily tonight, and this time it won't be due to our hungry little man!
