A connection ...

Lucy slept until 8:40 this morning!!! (I believe this might be the third time in her life she's slept past 8, and the first time in weeks she's slept past 7)

We were eating cereal this morning and Lucy was contemplating her breakfast. She starting muttering milk, milk, milk ... Then all of a sudden she gets a huge smile and says "mama, did Diane give this to me????"

I said no and tried to explain about cows milk, but then I got sorta skeeved out and started debating the merits of rice milk. Lucy also seemed a little disturbed about drinking milk from a cow's boobie.

see, that totally skeeves me out too. I've never had cow milk in my life, and the concept alone is enough to freak me out...

But yay on the sleeping in! how awesome!

That would be so nice of Diane to share!
That's great about her sleep. Good sleep = good day, right??
Glad she's feeling better.

Hi- My name is April and I follow your blog. We are in the process of adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia. Anyway, I heard this story on NPR and it made me think of you and Lucy. It's about sleep apnea in children and behavior. I thought you might be interested. Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us!
